Turn off online/offline messages

In General Messages, I see when my friends are now online or offline.
Is there any way to t urn this off?
Among my friends, there is one who keeps getting dis- and reconnected when she is playing on her phone, so sometimes the message box is filled with these messages.
I'd much rather only see messages of people looking for players.

The suggestion for this implementation has 2000 votes, I think.
I hope they do it. The game log gets hopelessly clogged with these meaningless updates about our friends' online/offline statuses.

Neither specifically addresses the general messages rather than the game logs, but it may be worth mentioning on either or both, or creating a new suggestion request to limit those messages in the general message pop-up.

You can install a Browser extension that remove these messages and bring many more features :
