Board Game Arena

Hello I'm new at boardgamearena and I would like to know before joining a game if the games are live or you just have to play one round per day ?
In the option the game cna be slow, medium or fast. What does that mean ?

Yes, on BGA the games are played in realtime.
Slow, mediom and fast give the players more or less time on the clock to play their next move.
