Quick introduction and two questions ...

Hello All,
Even though I've had my account for some time now, I have only recently start playing in BGA more regularly.
So far, I'm very impressed with the site, how well thought everything is, the variety of games available, but much more importantly I'm impressed and happy to see a welcoming and vibrant community.
I play quite a number of games with my wife, and I've noticed a couple of things here in BGA, for which I seek clarification/guidance:
1) We are are both quick players, however, when playing 2-player games, we certainly take it easier, since we are not making the game slow for others, and have ran out of time a few times (if needed, we even take short pauses to take care of the kids, etc)
No big deal for us ... however, I realize that we are then getting penalized and flagged as slow players
, which has prevented us from joining games with restrictions.
Is there any way to set up these games in such a way that they don't count towards "the slow player" statistics ?
I've tried setting the games with slow and "no time limit" settings, but doesn't seem to make a difference (although I'm not 100% sure of this).
2) The second question is regards the warning message about "Players playing from the same IP address"
While trying a couple of 2-player games with my wife, I've seen this message.
How would this generally be perceived if we both join a 3+ player game ?
Goes without saying that our intention is not to take advantage of this situation, but simply enjoy other games best played with 3+ players.
Are there any best practices or recommendation on how to go about this ?
