Greetings fellow Aquatica fans,

I am the best Aquatica player on this site!

I'm NOT calling anyone out, so please do not moderate me.

But, the top players have been declining my invitations for a game

So, who is actually the best ?

If the top 5 players are unwilling to play against each other, that's a problem with the game.

For the record.

The only players in the top 10 who have beaten me are Asteroidea and Wgb_grey. Wgb_grey is the best player I have played against.

Wgb_grey has as many wins against me as all other players combined.

If top 10 players are not willing to take challenges from other top 10 players, perhaps they should forfeit their position in the top 10.

Maybe we could organize a tournament, with the games set to Friendly mode? I have no idea how these tournament work on this site. Are they user-created?

Tournaments can be created by any Premium member. However, this game is still in Beta, and there are no tournaments for beta games.

Some players may not accept invitations from players they don't know. Making your game settings flexible can increase your chance of getting a match.

Games in beta always have fewer players than those that have been released and announced. Be patient... you'll get more opponents when Aquatica gets its turn for release

I don't want "a match", I can get a match anytime.

I want a match against the "top 2" players. Because I know I am better than they are. And they probably know it too. I've already played a game against the "top 1". I won, and he knows it's smart to avoid me.

They know who I am, and they have both turned down multiple offers to play me. They play plenty of games against players they do not know, as long as those players are low-rated or new players, who they think they can beat easily.

They want to safeguard their top two spots by avoiding real competition. Lame. meanwhile, what does it do for interest in the game when they join games hosted by new players and beginners, and then they crush them?

This has nothing to do with the game being in Beta.

So what's this really about? Attracting more players to the game, or whether a ranked player is entitled to demand matches with the top players?

Games are played by mutual consent. Given the option, I would choose not to play against hyper-competitive players, too.

I'm trying to get more people to play. High-ranked players against each other, and also, experienced players to offer games to new players in friendly mode to help them learn the game to increase overall interest.
