Ist it possible to have more than 4 shields? For example when I aleady have 4 fixed shields and then, in battle, I take the defensive stance which gives me 1 more shield?
The implementation at BGA does not seem to allow more than 4 shields.

Nope, not if you're playing by the rules. With the physical copy, how would you even indicate 5?
