Was Hotseat moved to premium overnight?

Mostly just curious if missed something: last night, like 10 hours ago, I was able to try out On Tour by playing as both players in Hotseat mode. This morning, it's saying that Hotseat is a premium feature... I've not subscribed to premium so not sure if hotseat was moved to premium since then or if there's something else I'm missing.

I think it has always been a premium feature, at least it was advertised as such.

You have also played other games in hotseat mode. It sounds like you benefitted from a bug, unless there is a limited number of times you can try out hotseat before it goes behind the paywall.
