Scoring rules issue
The game is brilliant!
The game combines dice randomness and card strategy, the design is exceptionally great.
About scoring -
In advanced mode, the color of the cards is scored twice,
taking into account the color of the base card Speakeasy - each card of the same color gives a point,
and taking into account the cards of the question-symbol, color majority in player set are scored,

I think it is wrong to score one color twice - as the color of the base card Speakeasy and as the majority color,
it turns out that a set of one color brings double the number of points,
the color of the base card should be excluded from scoring sets by the question-symbol cards,

what the rules say can be interpreted in different ways,
we need to ask the game designer,

thank you again for the game,
the game is great and brings delight

Hi,
Thanks for the kind words.

I confirm that, in advanced mode, you can't score your speakeasy color cards for the majority scorings (question-symbol icons). If your speakeasy color is your majority, then you score your second majority.

Thomas.

This scoring rules bug was fixed today, August 21, 2025, as indicated in this bug report https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=180784,
so from now in advanced game of Moonshine on BGA scoring rule is as follow -
players can't score its speakeasy color cards for the majority scorings (question-symbol icons),
If your speakeasy color is your majority, then your question-symbol cards will score your second majority and so on.
