When the game is over [Return to Main Site] button used to send to https://boardgamearena.com/lobby for years which was quite convenient - playing the next game was just one click away. As of today it sends to https://boardgamearena.com/ (which I personally rarely want), (and Play Again sends to the game page for over a year which I almost never want). So an extra click on Play Now is needed to get to the lobby. This is hardly an improvement IMHO.

I understand the desire to advertise the new front page, but is it possible to get the old behavior either as two buttons or as a setting in Preferences?

Yes, please. I am not sure how this new feature adds anything. There are many ways already that I am notified of new games. I do not need to be sent to the front page each time.

Please change back or add a button as proposed by OP.

100% agree — this change is very annoying. Especially when playing a lot of 5-minute real-time games. Upvoted baconfoot's request to change it back

This is so irritating. I don't know when this change was made since I was out of town this week, but I noticed it today and after a few games where I thought "did I click the wrong link?" I was sure the behavior of clicking "Play Now" from the end of game screen had changed, and not in a good way. So annoying that I literally came to the forums just to kvetch about it (I am not a person who normally posts much on these forums).

I just published a new version of the bga browser extension (https://en.doc.boardgamearena.com/ChromeExtension)
It will add this new option.

I really hope this will be reverted, it's super frustrating. Being forced to view the home page articles after every game makes me dislike whatever is on there.

The browser extension is nice, but I need a solution for the mobile app.

Play Again should Create and Open the game, no extra clicks and not see the new lobby.

Is it just me or does it take an extra long time for games to be ready to start once the table has filled up? It used to be more automatic but now I find that I and other players are waiting for the prompt to start.
