I’ve had an email saying I’m running out of time on game board 695817140. When you try to load the table it doesn’t exist?

Had it already ended before you tried to load jt?

I don't. But my phone has been doing some weird things lately. Probably getting old.

I'll try airplane mode to see if it clears the problem

Ok, some more info.

I play on both Apple IPad and Google Pixel 8a, so there is no hardware cause for this.

One time in my trial and error tests I gained visibility of the game, but not in a particularly helpful way. What it presented me with was a screen for replays. Asked me whose viewpoint it had of the game. I was able to step through this. But I presume that it is a replay of a complete game.

This is really weird, and quite concerning if there is data corruption involved Please make sure that I don’t get penalised if my time in the game runs out!

There is no if. The link I gave was to the replay of the completed game. It's already over. But your opponent completed the game instead of expelling you, so there won't be a penalty.

That’s good! Sorry if I misunderstood, my brain is not in a good place recently. I probably know about 10% of the rules here, to my cost a couple of times.
