Board Game Arena

Until this month, at the end of a game there was a button that I could click which took me back to the "Play Now" page. The changed button in the same place "Return to Main Site" is now taking me to the "Main" page. Something that is actively irritating, not merely unhelpful.
Previously functionality allowed me to simply click on the same game I had just waited to join a game of. Now I have to either remember the changed function and avoid clicking on the previously useful button, or click again after the new page loads.

Yes, I agree. Seems to be yet another not well designed change.

omg. this is so annoying that I went out of my way to come to the forums just to complain about it! I know it SAYS "return to main site" but obviously I actually want to return to the "Play Now" screen! Grr

Not sure if this is why the new change. For me. I repeat for me. This is what I was experiencing when finishing a game and trying to play another. Game over. Hit return to play lobby. Watch tablet spin and spin and take 1 or 2 minutes to return to lobby if ever.... Nutso. I stopped that. I found easier to leave site and come back on and goto play lobby...Now. With this new deal. After game. It returns me to main home page. Not good. Not where I want to go. But. I get there in 2 to 3 seconds. And then can hit play now and get there is another 2 to 3 seconds. Total. Much much faster system. Crazy. Not ideal. But much faster.

Time to learn a new habit: Do not click the return to main site button, but use the browser back button instead (for me, on Firefox: hold button, select latest "Play • Board Game Arena".

Or maybe they could add a second button that allows players to "return to play now screen"

Totally agree, came to the forums just to complain too! Please change it back or add a 'return to play lobby' button.

I agree this new change is super annoying I don't know why GBA can't leave things that are working well alone
