When Arena points start to mean something?
Obviously, when you ate 1st place, you are the champion, you are the best for the season bla bla.
But what if you are on 270th place? How you should evaluate that number? you are 270th from 6500. Is it good or bad? Does it means something?
Who how threat this ranking, share your thoughts

Reasonable take: What any number means, any ranking, is entirely up to you. Compare yourself to past versions of yourself, see how you improve, and remember that RNG can make your ranking fluctuate a ton.

My actual opinion: Unless you are consistently top ~100 then you are decent at best and still have a lot to learn.

Not really sure about your last statement as there are techincal ways to "cheat" the system into staying at the top.

That's fair, I suppose it might be more accurate if changed to "...top ~100 and actively playing Arena..." since some people just sit and tank.

Unfortunately, the system incentivizes king of the hill behavior.

You don't appear in the ELO ranking if you haven't played a game for a while. You still keep your ELO if you decide to play it again, but after some time being inactive, you won't be able to block a top spot for others

From other games, I've seen behavior like red-thumbing all players that are good enough to beat you and only play noobs.
