There is no mention of a ship variant for Cafe in the rules. why does it appear as a line on the score sheet?

The tutorial states that you won't be required to pay a cube for a coffee cup if there are two ships on your table.

There's a suggestion on BGG for a "half price" variant for one ship, then the normal full free coffee for two ships.
