Variants of the game board

What is the difference between the setting “basic game” and “revised basic game”? On BoardGameGeek and elsewhere online I cannot find any revision of the rulebook.

Base revised is a slightly changed version of the original board, that was released with the Fire & ice expansion. It is generally considered to be a worse map than base.
