We have the great pleasure to announce that starting
next Monday, you will be able to play on Board Game Arena in
turn-based mode if you like, in addition to the existing real-time mode.
This is a very important step in the development on Board Game Arena, and we are very excited about it
We know that you have a lot of questions about this : What is this? Why having it on BGA? How does it work? Which games?
This is why we build the following
Turn-based FAQ. Don't hesitate to post additional questions as comments, so we can add the answer to the
FAQ.
But good news never come alone. A wonderful game publisher - Czech Games Edition (CGE) - accepted to sponsor this amazing new mode with an amazing new game :
Through the Ages: A Story of Civilization by
Vlaada Chvátil. "TTA" is one of the best board game ever, ranked #2 on BoardGameGeek - let's say a board game monument, and we are particularly proud to be able to propose it here.
To bring TTA on Board Game Arena,
you just have to make sure that the CGE Facebook page reaches 1800 "likes" and I'm pretty sure that if you manage to push it over
2000 there will be more games from Czech Games Edition in the future! Let's go, go go!
UPDATE May 16th: congratulations and thank you very much! Let's meet on Monday around some TTA tables on BGA

WOW, Caylus has 59 minutes average with a game of 120 minutes in BGG. TTA is a game of 240 in BGG... how many time you should play for end this game? xDDD

Happy to see the new 'turn-based' option in action. Disappointed that the 'new' game is one that's long been available (in turn-based form) on another site.
(I won't link to that site, out of professional courtesy.)
Was really hoping for Le Havre or Dungeon Lords, two games that I know of no online play.
Other hopefuls: Macao, Vegas Showdown, Automobile.

Wonderful, TTA is a very appropriate choice for playing online due to complex setup.

With the turn-based mode introduced,
I want to change my obsoleted email address...
I can't receive turn-based notify now.

It will be interesting to see how many turn based games are played in comparison to real time....

I already liked their page. I am trying to like it harder but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
