Kraken, White Whale together

Hi,
I need an explanation. I just had a game with 4 players and the trick was played kraken, pirate, pirate, white whale. The trick got destroyed, so nobody took it.
Why does white whale not win in this case over kraken? Regarding rules the second special card's effect is the important one. So I thought the first player with kraken should have won the trick, or am I wrong?

White whale basically destroys all special cards. So also the Kraken.

its written in the white whale card description, where if the white whale is played when the trick consists of all special cards, the trick would get destroyed. if you get a white whale, long press on the card to see the description.

i think trick will also get destroyed if the trick went something like kraken, escape, escape, white whale. as long as there is no numbered cards, trick is destroyed

The white whale makes special cards and suits irrelevant. When it is played, the only thing that matters is the number on any normal suit cards, with the highest number winning the trick, regardless of suit. So, the white whale itself will never win a trick, and if only special cards are played, then no one wins the trick.
