Turn-based update

From 8 days now, you can play on Board Game Arena on both real-time and turn-based mode.

A lot of you already tried the new mode, and an incredible number of games (including more than 2500 games of Through the Ages!) have been played.

In the same time, the number of real-time tables didn't decrease, so we're really happy to see that this new mode brought new players on BGA :)

We've just updated BGA with the following updates:
  • At first, you can now play up to 10 tables in parallel, and it will increase again soon.
  • You now have 48 hours to give green/red thumbs on turn-based tables after the end of the game.
  • The bug that was preventing players to be expelled (when they are out of time) is now fixed, so you can expel players not playing from a long time.
  • We also fix the "this game has ended" bug when you try to review the last move of a game that just end, and some translations (wrong language) errors in the emails.
We'd like to provide the best turn-based mode available for online boardgaming, so if you have some suggestions don't hesitate to send them to us.

Thanks for keeping us updated about the stats.
I hope to see this site grow further and look forward to seeing more games added.

Like in realtime, the expel button is just below your opponent's name.

It'd ben nice if we could have an option in the settings that allows us to always skip the "last moves replay". Kinda annoying to always have to click on that button/label. Otherwise, it works very well.

It woudl also be nice to have a short vacation timer (maybe a couple of days) in case we won't have access to the internet for a couple of days. That way we won't get expelled right away.

Where? the only things I have under turn-based settings are when I want to be notificated by email, nothing about whether or not I want to see the last moves replay.

Btw. are you sure the daily notifications work? I haven't yet gotten any. Or does my mailprovider have those emails on their auto-spam-list, so they will never get through on this emailaddress?
