Not counting victories in your stats

Why is it that victories don't count in your stats?

Because it's a solo game, not tagged as cooperative. You didn't beat anyone, so no victory.

But Porchy also didn't lose to anyone so it shouldn't go down as a loss.

For the heck of it, I checked Porchy's stats and I see 21 games played and 0 wins for a win rate of 0 %.

In my book that's 21 losses and we know that's not right. Neither is the 0% win rate.

BGA needs to SERIOUSLY revamp the way it performs accounting for solo games,

Something like "21 games solo games played" period (with no info supplied for wins or win rate since it's not relevant) would be so much more equitable.

Edit: This is a sore point with me because BGA commingles the accounting for solo games with competitive games (for other titles besides For Northwood) and it distorts one's statistics for their competitive games. Stats for a particular title should have solo games reported separately from the listed results from competitive games.

Where does it say it's loss? A "not win" is not a loss, it can be a tie, or an abandonment... And the win percentage is a joke anyway, I have games with 200% win rate.

And it's because win rate is a "joke anyway", that I pay even more attention to the listed wins and losses. Let's be real - most "non-wins" in competitive play are from losses. Ties? Most games have tiebreakers. Abandonments? They pad the win total for most players - only those who are "out-of-time" are saddled with losses from abandoned games, and I can make an educated guess from one's reputation how many of their "non-wins" are likely to be from out-of-time games,

The bottom line is that there are some BGA titles that I'd love to play some solo games in but won't because they'll distort my listed results from competitive play.

Why would you miss out on playing a game you think you would enjoy to keep your competitive stats looking good on the site? If you just want to know your personal stats you could always just record them separate or use an app to record it
