Board Game Arena

We are really happy to introduce 8 Masters' Revenge, a fight game from Ludovic Roudy and Bruno Sautter (Serious Poulp).

3...2...1... Fight!

The first rule of 8 Masters' Revenge Fight Club is: talk everyone about it to, because it's a great game.
The second rule of this game is: Your only weapons are your 2 hands, represented by the 2 cards you have in play.
The terrible third rule of this game is: You start with 10 health points and, yeah, this is way not enough.

And finally, the most important rules of this game are:

• Each card has 2 numbers: one on the left, one on the right.
• You always have 2 cards in play (your 2 hands), and they are always side-by-side.
• Each time you play a new card on the left of your 2 cards, the card that is not adjacent to the new card is discarded (the blow is dealt).
• The sum of the 2 numbers in the center of your 2 cards is your attack value.
• The sum of the 2 numbers at both ends of your 2 cards is your defense value.
• If you manage to play a card and make sure your attack matches your opponent's defense, you do a successful hit and may deal damages.

Of course each card has a special effect that introduce nice tricks. For example you can place traps in your opponent's area (or cards), and then slide him on it and deal him plenty of damages. Yes, this is awfully good.

To survive in this game, pay attention to your defense value. Cards goes from 1 to 5, and consequently defense values like 2 or 10 are very difficult to hit.

Note: BGA adaptation supports only the 2 players mode (the real game is from 2 to 4 players), and the Master's special abilities will be available in few weeks. This way you can train yourself a little before

It's AMAZING!!! The graphs are perfect too!!! It'slike playing Tekken!!!! The only thing that misses is sound effects "ohh" "ouch" "k.o"

Nice implementation, at beggining can be a little confuse, but isn't bad after 2 or 3 games xD

About translation string, All the peeps are called masters and the game is called master's revenge.

So shouldn't it be Master mode and Master selection instead of hero mode and hero selection? on the set up page you're told to have a hero selection, while ingame you're told to pick your master! Seems to be a bit inconsistent and thats a shame.

Fun game though. Not sure if i was the right person to change this in the english tranlation tab.

Sawyer Einherjar you're right about the inconsistencies. Maybe contact directly Jinnh, or even report it as a bug?

Oso, Jinnh is new to BGA game development so he's wisely taking it one step at a time. But yes a 4 player mode is planned!

Well i think it is true but it has been translated in other languages and it has to be retranslated.

Does anyone know how can I order it online and be delievered to Greece? Please answer via PM.
