Is the game duration listed for each game the amount of time the game takes per person or the estimated total time overall?

I had always thought it was the estimated time overall. Then I see that Galactic Cruise is in alpha, and the game duration is 30 minutes! Every game of Galactic Cruise I have played lasted at least 2 hours and that is with people somewhat familiar with the rules.

I don't think you should pay any attention to the estimated time for any game in alpha. I remember when Azul Duel was fully released, for a few days it had estimated time 15 minutes on the main page and then shomewhere around an hour for a game when creating a table, no matter what game speed was selected. Few days later it started displaying reasonable times. I don't know how exactly the estimated time for a game is determined, but it's not to be trusted for new games, so it surely is not to be trusted for beta or alpha games.

Game duration may differ a lot by skill level of the player and by the help of the digital implementation like counting points compare to real life play (if you meant that with the 2 hours)
