Board Game Arena

ARENA games all have the same combination of showcases (the base game showcases).
Playing a game in only one game mode is typical for the 20th century ... but we wanted to apply the same settings as the default in the not-ARENA games, so random showcases. And we wanted to add the SECRET DECADES in the ARENA games. If it can't adjust during this first ARENA season, it can be different in the next season (determined by a voting system I'm told).

I agree it would be good to include the Secret Decade mode for the next Arena season

The SECRET DECADE, and RANDOM SHOWCASES set, is placed for voting (votes by players who played enough games or so?).
And one vote option for 2 player games and one vote option for 4 player games. With other games 2-player-games I often like the most for tournaments, but with EXHIBITION all player numbers are interesting in different ways.

The game settings for the current, 1st, ARENA season are changed, as you may have noticed.
Now the 4-, 3-, 2- cards showcases each are one of 3 possible showcases (1 from the base gane or 1 of the 2 expansion showcases). So each game starrs with one of the possible 27 (3×3) mixes.
And both players get a SECRET DECADE card, each card from that century in your exhibition brings you an extra point.
At the question mark at each showcase you can read its rule. (Keep the question mark pushed on phones.)

Uh, what? Why did y'all decide to change the arena format mid-season? I don't think I've ever seen that done before. Voting for how it should run _next_ season, sure.

Actually it's just been 5 days between the start of the arena season (for Exhibition: 20th century) and this change. We wish it was done earlier too but it didn't rely only on us so it took some time
