This looks like a fun little challenge: highest theoretical score in Vale of Eternity

Faraway forums did a similar challenge and I believe this high score of 250 points is untouchable https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewto ... 23&t=40336

High score theory can be validated by playing in real life coop mode with a rigged deck or via hotseat mode on BGA. High score on 4p hotseat would be an interesting challenge. I have my own ideas on how to go even higher, but I will not spoil.

That is a fun fact! On a related note, what is the soonest turn you could win on? My son and I found a solution for one turn 4 and one turn 5 win.

https://valeofeternity.wiki.gg/wiki/Round_4_win ddaglilatte created this page with 3 examples. Boreas one has been found by a few people and almost done once on BGA (57 round 4). Rock Golem one is mine and water is his.

I think I am missing something. Why removing Yuki in round 4 cost only 3?

I had a random thought about faster wins achievable in the Curse expansion and yes, a round 3 win can technically be achieved with any summoner using Void and getting extremely lucky.

Since Void can score 22, 20, 19 points per use and draw a card you could summon/copy it 3 times to win while drawing into useful cards. There are a few different variations on how to do this with all expansion cards included, no further boosts.

I'm trying to calculate if Round 2 is possible, but the difficulty increases dramatically. A summoner will certainly be required for a further stones/card boost combined with wards for 2 mana discounts.

OMG a round 2 finish is possible using Curse expansion. I just found a solution that hits 68 points on the scoreboard Round 2, final score 59.

It requires specific draws from Void so it is far more unlikely to ever happen than the theoretical Round 4 wins.
