Caylus - Better Image Files

Hi Dev community
I’m a mere player. Recently trying Caylus for the first time and the image files are super low res. The game was dev’d by BGA itself back in 2012 so I expect there’s no one actively looking after it.
When I look at another older game like Puerto Rico the tiles there are hi-res even when zoomed in on.
How hard would it be to obtain an improved image files from the Caylus publisher and update the images? I’m not a dev but would think it’s just swapping 30 or so tile images for a new set. The board would also benefit from going hi-res as a few tiles are pre-printed on it.
