Progression % gives away Witch Identity!!!!!

I just did a little experiment. A game that was relatively early had 80% progression. I noticed a villager already had 2 favors on them so I raided one of them. Progression dropped down to 60%. If my hunch is correct and this is the actual witch, this is a serious problem.

The solution is for progression to literally just be increments of 12.5% for each exonerated villager as the number of them is known by both players and is quite literally the natural timer of the game.

I just tested a hotseat game (by myself) and used bribe to move a favor from the real witch to another villager and the progression stayed at 80%

Not saying it's not possible, but I couldn't replicate it by myself. Just FYI.

That would indeed be awful if you could use progression to find the witch

EDIT: I also tried raiding and that does change the progression, but on any villager, not just the witch (tested raiding the witch, and raiding a villager and same result - the progression decreased. which I guess makes sense because there is less favor in play). In other words, I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think it's possible to cheat this way
