Elo question

When first starting out, the K-factor is 60, right?

In a 3-player game, in a player's first game, if that player wins against two players with similar Elo, shouldn't the ELo gain be +60? +30 for each of the two wins?

Even though BGA never explicitly showed it, as far as I know, didn't someone figure out what the player count adjustment was? I can't find the thread.

I'm still a bit lost.

A friend won a 3-player game and received the exact same Elo that would have been awarded for winning a 2-player game.

That doesn't seem correct to me.

Previously, Elo was not dependent on player count. But now the FAQ says it IS a factor?

Elo is mainly dependent on win probability against each opponent, and is calculated whether you won or lost against that opponent, and then added together. There used to be a formula in the FAQ that didn't really explain much, but four years ago someone explained it to me:
