early turn has huge advantage so normal rule has point adjust.
1 action is worth 4 points.
so 2 men players, later turn has 3.5points carryover. in other words, later turn has 3 points and if score is even, later is winner.

BGA follow the physical version rules
You can ask the publisher, but I'm not sure they will change the rules.

That's why you need to play 2,4,6,etc games to alternate start.

Would be interesting if you had to bid points for start player. I wonder what top players would bid. Either blind bid or back and forth until someone passes.
If you had to do it before seeing your tickets, or even more interesting if you bid after seeing them.

It would be awesome. Or, hear me out, to wage ELO points (the k-factor) like in poker

You could fold games with Bos Mia, Port Nash and Van SF for example…

Statistical analysis of every recorded chess game over last 175 years shows White wins 52-56% of the time (with probability increasing direcly in correlation with average ELO):

You should also post over on the chess forum to demand chess rules must be changed. Maybe give black an extra pawn? Petition the International Chess Federation too! Good luck!

This is interesting, in a 4p otb tournament here in Italy we had an auction for the seats where players bid victory points. I most of the time had to bid 3 for first place and that was enough, but I think in 2p among high level players the value vould be easily higher

After seing the tix, it would be between 5 and 25 pts I’d say. It could add another layer to the game with more bluff and kind of mitigate certain tickets combo.

Interestingly, in the World Cup for Chess where they place both sides on classical time, then decreasing time limits, if they get to 5-5, they play the 11th and last game as "Armageddon" where they bid on black (sub 4 min, whoever bids lowest gets black) and white gets 4 min start time. However, black only needs to draw in order to win overall.
