One player wrote me "cheater" to play not Friendly robber

Honestly, we are starting to have a very big issue with this.

It is Arena. It is not in the rules.

If the first 7 is mine I will always rob. If not, I will respect the 1st 7 decision.

But we should play without FR.

Before that, one player robbed me with 2 points cause I had 3 dev cards. Suddenly. Without any agreement in the beginning.

It is clear that admins do not care of the bullies on this platform.

The only option left is to quit Arena or get frustrated on something that should represent a relaxing and pleasant part of the day, since you can't do anything but leaving the game and be penalised or give a red thumb that means nothing.

That is why I have cancelled my premium sub: if I want to be insulted and pissed off, I already have my job and at least I don't have to pay for it

It will not impact BGA in any capacity but will make ne feel less stupid

Did you report them? You should.

I don't even go with whatever the first 7 chooses, I always block and rob, why give myself a disadvantage? If they want to then take that against me, well that's their problem. I have had to remind people that teaming against me just because I didn't do FR is still teaming and thus reportable.

I recently had someone whine at me the entire game because I stole from them when I didn't do FR when they had 2 points, they stole from me for a majority of the game and then complained when I'd block a 4/11 (those numbers were being rolled a LOT and also were the main brick/wood resources for both players) and steal from the third player instead of a 6 (that they weren't on so it's okay obviously lol, which was also barely being rolled). I honestly thought I was going to lose the game because it was 3-8-8 for a while and we were never rolling 5s for my wood resource but I guess I did block pretty well because they both stalled and I was able to get a road building card, build a settlement to break their longest road build four cities and then overtake the longest road. I was honestly gobsmacked. They berated me in the comments and said I didn't deserve to win because I played unsportsmanlike by not doing FR. LOL.

I just wish people would stop expecting FR in arena and then get mad when you don't abide by it.

I did report of course. And before reporting I asked them if they want to apologize.

Just played three more arena games (of which I won 2 if anyone is wondering) where even if I was the first to roll a 7 and therefore "set precedent" I was called playing "not fair" and then insulted in their native language. One person even tried to insult me via my nationality. Why are people so toxic in this game?

In none of my games did anyone even ask for FR in the comments, they just assumed it was given. If someone asks I will usually say whatever the majority is, but to not ask and expect it and then get mad when I don't, that's just rude. I try to remind anyone complaining that Arena does not have the FR rule at the moment so it should not be expected.

I am so so sorry you went through this. Why are so toxic? It is a good question, I hoped BGA would take this more seriously

It's useless.

Arena is supposed to be the competitive selection for playing Catan. Friendly Robber is not competitive, sorry but if it’s not in the rule set I will rob and block whoever has the best starting placements. I expect my opponents to do the same to me if I have a particularly strong start.
