Effects on a Game from Expelling Player

I would think someone would have posted on this, but I can't find it. Sorry if this is a repeat.
So I've got this game of Stone Age. Player A, first on turn, never took his turn. So he got expelled. So it skipped to Player B to start. Next round Player B got to start again. Then it went to C & D. Then there we are on Player A again, who isn't there, so B gets to go, and then B gets to go again on the next round. So every time it comes around again, Player B gets to go twice in a row.
This is an unfair, unbalanced problem for this game. (I'm already foreseeing a definitive problem with him getting to start next round again when it should be me. Little problem of a card... )
There's other problems, which I think are more minor, like that all 4 hut piles are still there, and no one gets blocked out of the village. I don't think the huts are hurting anything, but the village issue kinda makes it easier - I'm sure someone would mind that.
It's turn-based, but I'm not seeing that this issue would be any different with the real-time games. ?? That's why I was surprised to not see anything about this, cause this could throw off a lot of games when this happens, not just because of start player but all sorts of reasons.
I'm seeing this as kind of a serious issue. I would think either everyone would need to agree to play that way (like in a case where it doesn't really matter), or fix it so the game realizes that the players have changed and adjust accordingly.
