The first move by White is not accompanied by a sound. Because of this, many games end due to time forfeits with penalty points.

I agree, we need a signal to start the game. It's strange that no one thought of this.

After my first move, there's usually a "wah-wah-wah" sound.

You don't need the sound after your move, you need the sound after white's first move when you play black.
