Either making routes shorter or adding more trains

In Ticket to Ride, it seems routes are very hard to come by. Was just playing the European version, had great routes, but not enough trains. Seems there was an error in the way the game was made or something like that.

When making a joke like this, you should have some silly anecdote or something to catch our attention. This didn't really have anything to hold it together, so it fell flat.

Again, this is the kind of thing that belongs in the TTR forums and not in the general discussion.
It is entirely possible to take too many destination tickets to be able to complete - limited trains is part of the game. That's just poor play choices on your part. Are you really suggesting that a game that's been around over 20 years, played probably millions of times, not even including all the playtesting that would have gone on before its release, is flawed in its design because you're finding it hard to finish your routes? You really think you'd be the first person to notice such a glaring issue?
Or maybe you just need to get better at playing?

Sounds like you didn't make use of your train stations.

Or OP doesn’t know how to pair tickets well…
45 trains is more than enough

I was going with the assumption that they can manage that if they're familiar with the other maps. But it is also a possibility.
