Board Game Arena

I have a gaming streamchannel on twitch and somehow managed to grow to 8k followers in my first 1.5 years. I tried to play some games vs viewers but it was clear fast that I was limited to luck based/push your luck games only such as "can't stop". As soon as I would play a game that involved cards and strategic choices , people just took advantage by watching the stream while playing.

Would a streamer mode be possible on the site or is this impossible ? Or could there be any other possible solutions?

I can't come up with a real solution unfortunately wich means I can't stream my beloved boardgames anymore .. Hoping to find answers here before I give up tho.

You could open the game on a different browser and it would be spectator mode so no hidden information wouldnt be shown

So in other words games where hidden information doesn't matter solve that problem entirely?

You also haven't even said what a streamer mode was.

This sounds like a good suggestion to me.

Other ideas:
- Don't stream the game live
- Play in friendly mode (people are less likely to cheat if they don't play for Elo)
- Play only with people you trust they won't take advantage by watching the stream

Streamer mode is a common thing in online games. An option for content creators to hide specific information in a game.

i tested it, you don't need an account it just shows up that you are a visitor.
