Draw Card / Play Card spams!!!

The game feels unbalanced due to some players exploiting a weak meta. I don’t entirely blame them, it’s a design flaw, but they take advantage of the situation and their tactics are driving players away.

If the developers don’t address this, the game risks losing its community. Certain players focus on upgrading cards with Draw Card/Play Card abilities while discarding others to maximize drawing their strongest cards later. They then spam these cards, often playing 7 cards at once while I’m stuck with just 2. Once, I couldn’t even play a single card before they had 9 on the board and scored.

It’s overwhelming and not fun. As a result, I’ve quit the game for now. I might return if the developers nerf these cards or rebalance the meta to make matches fairer and more enjoyable... I dunno...

This strategy is a bit subtler than it looks. I've won quite a few times against players that did this, just because they focused too much on spamming cards but (1) didn't have cards with enough points, and (2) couldn't prepare their hand properly for the next round. So yeah, they could play 6 or 7 cards, but I always had the 2-3 good cards I needed and these were enough.

The version of the strategy you're talking about is a bit more clever, but needs more prep. If you focus on getting the tokens you need to buy important cards and deprive them of them, it's already less effective.

This isn’t really a bug or a flaw in the system — it’s actually the core of the game. Just “playing 1 and drawing cards” usually isn’t enough to win. There are plenty of ways to change the flow or counter that strategy. Even when your opponent is running 7–8 draw cards, you can still win rounds with just 1–2 well-timed plays.

Every match — and every round — has its own dynamics. Every single card picked from the field can change everything. And honestly, getting your hand into that perfect “draw machine” state is harder than it looks. During that process, the score can already slip away, or options like save or pass can completely flip the situation.

There’s no absolute winning plan in this game — too many variables like luck, random card draws, special shots, and dice rolls affect the outcome. Personally, I also tend to play styles that aim to shrink my hand, but I’ve lost many matches precisely because I over-focused on that. I’ve had games where my opponent played only two cards per round, and I still couldn’t score or stop them.

So don’t get too frustrated about it. The game already has less traffic than it deserves — let’s not lose the remaining players we have! 😄

I agree with it. The mechanic of deleting your entire deck and leaving in there 10-12 cards is annoying. And eventho is the meta it kills the game itself by dening anyone else to play.
Not saying that for random players at home would be the same but for people playing daily is a bummer and I play that way sometimes as well but a game that is decided after 3 hands is boring.
The balance should be there at least until the 2nd half of the game.
