Express Stop not there and other oddities with tutorial

I'm new to the platform and am trying to go through the Reversi tutorial. Going fine, but I feel like I'm missing some things because:

1) From my game management page when I hit "Play" a new browser tab is opened (fine). Then, when I create a table and launch my game using Express Start (training mode, 1p), BOTH of the tabs become the game (same URL). Also, there is no Express Stop option in the menu.
1a) There is a Test Spectator. If I use the arrow to switch to that player, then I can Express Stop.
What am I doing wrong here? ...and why do I get two browser tabs with the game?

2) Restarting the game seems to be a long path so, again, I have to be missing something because people say it's easy. After I stop my game, I'm taken to the Game Ended screen. From here it seems I have to use the top right menu to "Quit this Game" or "Return to Main Site". Then, go to the top right to my profile and open the game manager again... and start all over selecting my game, play, create table...
Clicking Play Again from the game end screen would not allow me to Express Start - it seems to take me to the "non-developer" game page.

Also, I have to close the duplicated browser tab (still in the game end screen) or they'll keep reproducing like rabbits...

Win10, Edge (chromium), VSCode

1) Express stop helps quit all players at the same time. For 1 player, you can just quit game, that's the same. The button should show for 2+ players.
2) You should have a Play again button as soon as you quit / express stop.
3) Start in Turn-Based mode instead of Real-Time mode, to not replace all your opened Studio tabs by the RT game.

1) Thanks - that makes sense. I started a two player game and then it launches the table but I have to click Go to Game to get there. Normal? (maybe because all of my accounts are from the same IP so I get stopped at that warning screen?)

2) I have a "Play this game now" button on the end game screen. That takes me to a screen where I cannot "Express Start" (maybe it doesn't matter?)

3) Ah ha! Thanks again (tutorial says to start in Real-Time mode). I'll use turn based now.

Go to the game is normal in turn based mode ;)
