Ticket to Ride

This is one of the few board games my wife enjoys playing, and with the original version we used to play against each other online, (we owned all the expansions). This is no longer possible.

I have looked at the new version but you have to rebuy all the expansions.

Can we play against each other using BGA?

If so can we put the board up on our 4g smart tv? so we can see better (both 65+ so eyesight not as good as it used to be).

Any help greatly appreciated.

Mike

Yes. Either use two accounts and two devices, or one account and "hotseat" mode on one device. You need to be premium for the latter, and I think for the former too unless you have two separate internet connections. But you need premium to play Ticket to Ride anyway.

You can't display just the board on the screen, it would also display your hand of cards and tickets. Theoretically I would imagine you can put BGA on your TV, though I haven't tried it myself, but (assuming you're playing hotseat mode) unless you're going to exit the room between turns, you're going to see each other's hands.

*NITPICK* You're correct in the OP's circumstance, but just for OP's clarity as they seem to be new to BGA:

For Ticket to Ride (and any other game listed as "Premium"), only a person with a premium account can start a table, but anyone, even non-premium, can join it.

So in OP's instance, there would need to be at least one premium account.

Again, I'm nitpicking.

if you have a 3rd device, you might be able to streamcast a "spectator" onto your TV...
