Is this in rule with the boardgame? Methane removal is a one time temp effect. Triggered drawdown, ended at 0, then the game said i won but now showed 3 net carbon. (after methane removal went away)

To date, 100% of people who say "Why didn't I win?" forget to check their challenge cards. The log even tells you, "Victory prevented by [challenge card name]"
I'm not a betting man, but if I were...

Hum? What does that have anything to do with my question? I'm asking why did I WIN, not why didn't i win.
Later edit: Delved into the manual and BGA is correct, the /moment/ you trigger drawdown, it doesn't matter what else happens in crisis or after as long as you survive the crisis round (die+crisis cards). This makes stuff like Methane removal/carbon removal hugely powerful. Won a game just now by removing six carbon, putting me at -1 from 5 net. I think the intent is that if you can do it this turn, you can do it better next turn, so you just win even with 'temporary'/spike removal of carbon. BGA just makes this slightly confusing as it doesn't keep/note the - carbon in the crisis step and after.

Please accept my apologies for my reading skills failing me!
You're absolutely correct in your assessment. Once you trigger drawdown by any means, you need only survive to the end of the round (and complete any blocking challenge cards you may have signed up for) to win the game.
