Board Game Arena

This is a bit of a silly question, but it drives me up the wall. Every time I load up ark nova on my phone and scroll, it doesn't matter where I tap, but some card comes up full screen like I long pressed it. It lasts for a while, usually until I find the card in question and tap it. Then it will go away. It's annoying! Does anyone else get this? Is there a way to avoid it? Ark Nova is the only game I play that has this problem. Thx for any help.
