Board Game Arena

I was looking through folks' games histories in the Azul Arena leaderboard and I noticed * has only been playing for 14 days and made it from 0 to 500 in just three days! Wow! Has anyone ever done it in less, or is that the record?

That doesn't seem particularly remarkable. Just be at 500+ playing strength and play several games until you get to your level.

That player is averaging 35 games played per day.

Is it all that impressive to get to 500 Elo when playing that many games?

I reached 512 in 20 games and 560 in 25 games (not in Azul, but in my best game).

These are good points. As a very average player who took a year to reach 500, I forget some people can do it in 20 games because they simply don't lose.

Yup. Not sure why but no longer exists. I have a few games vs them in my game history that I can still see.

That's because you started said journey on BGA. Not everyone does, or in other cases not on that account at least.

Pretty sure that account isn't even gone, just reset.
