Board Game Arena

I got into queue to play sea salt and paper arena and I have my speed preference set to slow. However I noted I was going to be in a fast paced game.
I decided to decline starting the game. IS speed preference no longer being selected for in this new arena queue?.
Before it would ask me if I wanted another speed besides my preference. When this came up, I was declining fast paced games.

I assume this is from the new lobby (game page). If so, is your speed set to flexible? It would not at all surprise me if you said it wasn't and it's still doing this. But in any case, if it's a problem, try the old lobby (Play Now). Use the cog to set your speed preferences and off you go.

I do not have my speed set to flexible. It is set for slow mode. I will often accept normal speed games and very rarely play fast paced games.

It's not clear whether you actually want a way to start games that won't have the issue you described (which nik provided), or whether you still want to keep doing it the way you have been and just want to know if other people are having the same issue.

I wanted to know if this was part of the change to the queue. That's all.

Doubtful it's related to the new acceptance screen for Arena. People have complained about this long before now, though I don't feel like I've ever had a clear answer before whether someone was using flexible on their settings or not. Before you that is - I appreciate you've been quite clear on that, so it does seem like the queuing can be wonky in the new lobbies regardless of speed choices. That said, I've never had an issue myself and I do use both, depending what I'm trying to set up and whether I can be bothered going to Play Now after it dumps me on a game page.
