How to reconcile the profile games played vs games history

In my profile page it says I have "957 games played" but if I check my games history, it says there are "984 tables found"
If I click the filter button for "finished games only", I now have "951 tables found" which also does not match the stat in my profile tab.
So... how many games have I played? I'm not sure how to reconcile this.
