Board Game Arena

We are currently working on implementing new formats on Board Game Arena that could be integrated into the life of Altered Organized Play. Formats like "No Unique" and 39-card Singleton are currently being explored, with the hope that even more formats will be available in the future.

Do people want no uniques? Isn't that a big part of what sets altered apart from other tcgs?

Yes unique is part of the game. But for low budget, playing with only commun and rare is a simple solution to give a chance to perform in competition.

Honestly, this announcement is one of the reason I pledged.
Uniques is kind of a lottery / pay-to-win system.
Can not think of a more frustratring situation in Altered where you are tied or in front and your opponent puts a unique combo with tokens generator or stuff like that.
As long as uniques would be unbalanced (for example uniques who draw 2 cards, and uniques who give one boost to one character for the same mana cost), that is impossible to win against some players.

Do we know if 2v2 is getting worked on at all?
