Pointless "best for 2" tag

There's a game tag that says "best for 2". I guess it's intended to mean "this game is best for 2 players (rather than 3 or more)". An alternative interpretation would be "this is a great game for 2 players (rather than other games, which are not as good)", but that would be silly and even more subjective, every game would claim they're "the best".

What is pointless is that many of the games that have the "best for 2" tag are in fact for 2 player only: Memoir 44, Splendor Duel, Sky Team, Altered, Dracula vs Van Helsing, Toy Battle, etc. If someone wants to search for 2-player games, they can just use the number of players selector. If they want games that are recommended for 2 players, there should be another selector for recommended player count (which would also allow for 3, 4... players). If they want games that are only for 2 players, that's a different thing.

I agree, if the "Best at 2" tag functions as you have described, that seems very inaccurate and pointless.

I would have thought there was already a filter that allows finding games at a certain player count.
Having a recommended player count across all numbers (2,3,4 ... etc) does seem quite subjective, and who gets to decide whether a game is better at 4 or 5?

In the short term, I suspect the "Best at 2" tag should not include games that are ONLY played at 2.
