Remember that movie where a space crew was fighting some sort of deadly alien on the loose on their ship? What was it called already… Anyway, that is not what Galactic Cruise is all about!
 
You are the supervisor of a company that offers the comfort of a luxury cruise with the innovation of space travel. The current CEO of the company will step down in 3 years, and your objective is to earn Victory Points for constructing ships, satisfying guests, and further developing the company. All of that while ensuring that you impress the Board of Directors to earn the coveted title of CEO.
 
Forget about heroic space chase or intergalactic fights, Galactic Cruise is a worker placement and resource management heavy eurogame. It remains quite approachable with a surprising simplicity in the actions, despite the 12 or so unique actions.

This game is kinda fussy -- lots of little bonuses and resource gains. It is one case where BGA makes the game easier to play and understand. I have a number of gaming buddies who must see a game on the tabletop before they understand just what BGA is doing to keep track of scores and elements. Just played two full tabletop sessions of Galactic Cruise last Friday. Took 9 hours, but both were teaching sessions which take considerably longer.

Just wanted to say great job. I would rather have fewer really quality board games like this on than a ton of just ok game. More games like this. I have enjoyed playing in Beta.
