Board Game Arena

There appears to be a set of video game-like "achievements" on the play area. These are not mentioned in the instruction manual. Are they "used" for anything? Do they serve any mechanic in the game or are they just for fun? Does BGA even recognize when you've achieved one of these?

They are for fun, and yes Bga keeps tracks of the one you did. It's not on the rulebook but all around the physical game box
