I am starting my journey with this game.
Any specific tips/strategies to incorporate ?

Best advice I can give is to watch replays from high level players and try to understand why they do what they do and when you don't understand than you have something specific to ask.

The only thing that's the same in almost every game is to invest in modules in the beginning and think about where to place the modules and take cards that can be used with your modules

Find synergies between artifacts, large cities, your character and possibly journey cards. I.e, if you have a crate artifact, a crate large population, go towards that-explore and try to go up left side of tech track. Lightning bolts- think similarly but go up right side.

Cheat extra plays. Game has a ton of ‘free plays’. Maximize those.

Also explore as a first action with resources left for building.

The game ends quicker than you might expect.
Don't "waste" turns playing cards that don't benefit you much. Better to pass and reuse your better cards and slots.

This is so important, and it's something I'm struggling with. I tend to try and stretch out every single turn before hibernating, and end up making inefficient plays as a result. And the game moves from "nothing is really happening" to "it's over" about one turn faster than I think it's going to.

If you’re just starting with Revive, here are a few tips that really help:

1. Keep an eye on the table.
A lot of your decisions depend on what your opponents can do next. Pay attention to which cards they still have, what resources they’ve got, and what they’re able to build or populate on their next turn. Also watch which machines/modules are available and which cards are about to be taken — sometimes taking something first is a big deal.

2. Pick a clear strategy early.
Your game plan often depends on your Large Location of Devotion Track, and your objective card. For example, you might focus on collecting crates, generating energy, or securing spots with crystals. Having a direction from the start helps a lot.

3. The biggest rule in Revive:
Never reveal a location unless you can immediately build on it.
If you flip a location and can’t build there right away, someone else might jump in and take the spot — and it can ruin your whole plan.

1. Modules giving you 2 resources are more profitable than modules giving 1 resource.
2. Explore only in your favour. Open tiles only if other players do not build on them quicker than you.

I would also say don't concede even if it's a forgone conclusion. Getting absolutely trounced in this game is a great way to learn what not to do and what a more familiar player does with the same board state. See what machines they'll prioritise over board presence. See what combos they've managed to make out of things that might not seem like much on their own. Learn to read the board and have an idea as to what they might be working towards for their artifacts and more importantly what they aren't.
