Operation Torch (custom?) scenario

At the Days of Wonder there’s a page for mini-campaigns and remembrance scenarios. One I’d really like to try is the scenario for the Battle of Oran, part of Operation Torch.

I don’t see it listed in the dropdown options for M44 here on BGA, but I guess I can do it using the Scenario editor? I’m still reading here how to do that, and I gather it involves an .M44 scenario file that is uploaded?

Ok, I'm now trying the Scenario Editor for the first time. So far, so good, though the scenario calls for a "salt lake" that looks like desert tiles. And they're not supposed to permit armor to move into/through it. The rest of the map is a normal countryside map, with terrain tiles from the Mediterranean pack. I'm not sure what to use for this "Sebkha of Oran"

That terrain does not yet exist in M44.
So either you leave it to the discipline of players: state in the description that armor cannot go there
Or you might proxy the terrain, downside: it will look strange.
Options for terrain
Hedgehogs (terrain 5) or Ravines (terrain 50), downside: infantry can ignore one flag
Dragon’s Teeth (terrain 46) downside infantry must stop in the hex.
Good luck learning more about and working with the editor.

My advice would be, as Jeronimon said, to leave it to the discipline of the players but use the high ground terrain to give a visual clue to the players.
The other solution would be to use hedgehogs and tell the players that they have to take every flag, but there is a risk of one automatically ignored if it would cause a fig loss.
