Summer is back and we are going to the beach!
Challengers! Beach Cup is an auto battler deck-building tournament style game, which means that every round, you meet a new opponent. It is more than just an expansion to
Challengers! It is a stand-alone game that includes a 16-card "Trainers" giving each player unique powers. Some give you bonuses when you are defending, some when you are on the offensive, and others can lengthen your bench or even allow you to reorganize your deck.
The game revolves around two phases: the deck and the match phases.
During the
deck phase, you choose new members and add them to your deck, which can be made up of a magician, an alien, a cat, a goat and a kraken. Choose from seven different sets and discover new strategies and synergies with every game. During the
match phase, stay in possession of the flag to win a round's trophy.
Try to win as many fans and trophies as possible over the seven rounds to qualify for the final. If you beat your opponent in the final, you win!
In Challengers! Beach Cup, build a deck with quirky characters, compete for flags, trophies, and fans to reach the final. Get ready to challenge your opponents by clicking the link below:

Three cheers for
Johannes Krenner and
Markus Slawitscheck, the game designers, as well as the team from
1 More Time Games. And big hurrah to
Thoun for bringing the spirit of summer back to BGA with this adaptation.
This is your Friday release,
Get that deck running, and until then take and play fair...

Will it be integrated with the base game too? It would be amazing to mix and match sets.

This is what I came here to say. Please allow us to mix the two games and still play with Trainers. Thank you!

I'm so glad to see this on here! I love the way Challengers plays on BGA. This was my first chance trying the new game and I can already see a lot of different possibilities and metas. Looking forward to playing it more. Thank you!

Same here. Bringing this to BGA is highly appreciated. I am glad to the it here. Thanks a lot. But separating the two Challengers-games seems to me very unlucky since it takes away so much of its replayability. So, I really do hope that this will be fixed soon.

Did BGA just give up on “stupid sexy Flanders?”

Really looking forward to be able to use Trainers in the regular game, and maybe - one day - be able to create 16 player lobbies for a combination of both games, like it was supposed to be. Team A playing classic, Team B playing Beach Cup, until they meet in the final final to find out who wins, Finalist from Team Classic or Beach Cup!
Would be wonderful to have "tournaments" like this and see both Decks clash, like its supposed to be in the real game
