Ideal monitor size (inches) for BGA

I have a 24" monitor and struggle to see most games at their best.
I'm thinking of upgrading to a larger monitor.
Which one do you recommend based on your gaming experience here at BGA?

I love the massive screen space of this monitor:
SAMSUNG 49" Odyssey G9 (G95C) Series DQHD 1000R Curved Gaming Monitor, 240Hz, 1ms(GtG), DisplayHDR 1000, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Eye Saver Mode, Auto Source Switch+, LS49CG950ENXZA, 2024.

I have no trouble on my 24" external monitor. On my 14" laptop screen, different story.
What you you mean by "see most games at their best"? Do you mean see the entire board, plus any player boards the game may have, all simultaneously? For some game that is just not practical because most monitors are not the size of tables. It's just a limitation of the online format.

Agreed. The 49 inch monitor is excessive for BGA games, pretty much. I acquired the monitor when I was learning Java because I wanted to be able to have IntelliJ, an Excel spreadsheet, and an internet window and a Word document viewable with minimal overlap.
But as meeplelowda noted, sometimes it does not matter. When I play Viticulture, I cannot read the visitor cards even with my prescription reading glasses (which are not necessary at all for any other game), and even when I hover over the cards to enlarge them.

Yeah, when you need to have an IDE and other windows open for coding, bigger is better. They say the ideal number of monitors is one more than you currently have.
