Can't resolve "What do you want?"

It is early in the game. Rules are Draw 1 and Play 2. I played "What do you want?" which allows me to take something from the discard pile. There was only one card there, two when my card was added. I can't figure out how to take that card from the discard. I tried on my phone and on my computer. It is a Goal card that I don't particularly want. If I quick-click it ignores me, if I long-click it tells me what the card is, it won't let me drag.
