Disable "concede victory" button after 95%

Hello !
I've had several games where my opponent resigns with one minute left when they realize they can no longer win. In short games, okay, why not but when you've spent an hour in a game, I find it very frustrating.
Can you imagine playing a game of TM or Ark Nova at home, and your opponent flips the table with one minute left before the final score?
I understand the implementation of being able to resign, but it shouldn't be possible after 95% of the game has passed.

As I type this, your suggestion has a net upvote total of -1 (perhaps 2 downvotes and 1 upvote). I like your idea, and will upvote it, but I don't think it's likely to be implemented. Seach the forums for keywords
concede or
conceding and you will find lots of heated debate about whether it's poor sportsmanship to concede when the game will end soon anyway.

I'm upvoting it.
Conceding at 95%+ just seems like flipping over the table, as the OP said. It irritates me on numerous levels when people do it.
But with my vote, it will just be a net zero. And there are years-old suggestions with 1000+ upvotes that are not implemented. So, I'm not expecting anything.

There are those games where the opponent can completely block you, without any useful move, while they go on a point harvesting journey, turn after turn, purposefully not triggering the "end game" switch. Would you like to be locked in such a game without the possibility of conceding?

Ah, this is true. I didn't consider that when I wrote my post.

I find this a bit odd:
From the FAQ:
"What is the code of conduct?
On Board Game Arena, you should not:
Run out of time on the game clock.
Leave a game in progress on purpose.
Take an unnecessary and unreasonable amount of time at the end of game in an obvious losing position.
[and others]."
Why is it against the code to take an unreasonable amount of time in a losing position but not in a winning position?

It's referring to a specific form of stalling that is much clearer to identify. A lost player with no real options just not doing anything to waste time is relatively straightforward to see and something that is known to happen. A winning player, not so much. That's not to say it can't happen, but it would be harder to make sense of and doesn't come up anywhere near the same level.

You won the game. What's the problem?
