Groups stage tournament where stage two inexplicably does not commence

I can't remember if this is something that's come up before. A Lucky Numbers tournament of type "Groups Stage"; both stage 1 and stage 2 are of type Round Robin. 225 entrants, 15 groups, with 1 player advancing per group. Game maximum duration is 1 day and the tournament began a few weeks ago (November 15, 2025). As far as I can tell, all stage 1 games finished; there's a winner listed in each of the 15 groups but stage 2 hasn't begun. A bug report was filed here:

I've never seen this before either. Have you used these settings (or similar) before? I can't see what the problem is on the face of it, but I don't know the game.

A couple of weeks later, tournament still apparently frozen. I don't recall if I've ever done a double round robin like this with 225 entrants, could be. I'm not familiar with Lucky Numbers either.

The tournament is stuck after round-robin group stage 1 is finished, the 2nd stage = KO stage should have started 3 days ago.
I added it to the existing bug report.

So, since today, my tournament finally goes on and we entered the 2nd stage = KO stage. However, there have been also 5 additional round-robin groups created in group stage 1 (that was already finished). They are now active and run simultaneously with the 2nd stage KO games.
It's one of the weirdest things I've seen on BGA.
I absolutely appreciate that some BGA staff member apparently did something about this, this is great. However, it has not worked out 100%.

In this tournament was the entire Stage 2 stuck, or just certain games in Stage 2? I'm having an issue where just one game seems to be stuck:

Actually it was very different, we were stuck in stage 1, the stage 2 had not even started. I don't remember exactly, either all stage 1 games were finished and we just did not move on, or the automatic game end mechanic did not work in some games, so the games kept running after the time limit was reached. I think it was the former.
