No warning with +1 pedal on corners

Hello,
It's something I ran into twice. The game usually warns you before doing anything that will consume heats cards, may be it crossing a curve line or boosting after having crossed one. Thing is, there's one case where it's not happening it's when you're about to cross a line with with the boosting bonus of either the +1 pedal (not the "1" pedal, the one that adds 1 to each of your pluses on top of adding being a "1" card) or the +1 4 wheel drive. Is it intentionnal? I personnaly like to always double check what it may cost me to cross a line and I was surprised this was the only case where the game didn't warn you.
